Terms of Service

1. Eligibility (18+)

You must be at least 18 years old to access or use the Service. By using the Service, you confirm you meet this requirement. We may request age verification and may suspend or close accounts that fail verification.

2. Social casino only (no real-money gambling)

The Service is for entertainment. You cannot wager or withdraw real money through the Service. We do not offer prizes of real-world value, and outcomes in the game do not provide any entitlement to money or anything redeemable outside the Service.

3. Virtual Currency & Virtual Items

• Virtual currency/credits, chips, tokens, boosts, and other virtual items are licensed to you, not sold.
• They have no cash value, are not legal tender, and are not redeemable or exchangeable for real money or real-world goods/services.
• Transfers, trading, or sale of accounts/virtual items are prohibited unless we explicitly allow it in writing.
• We may modify, manage, or remove virtual items (including balances) to operate, secure, or update the Service.

4. Accounts & security

You are responsible for your account activity and for keeping credentials secure. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access. We may impose limits, suspend features, or close accounts to prevent fraud or misuse.

5. Acceptable use

• No cheating, bots, automation, exploits, reverse engineering, or interference with the Service.
• No harassment, hate, illegal content, or infringement of others’ rights.
• No attempts to access other users’ data, bypass security, or overload systems.

6. Purchases & refunds

If we offer optional purchases of virtual items, those purchases grant a limited licence to use the items in the Service. Except where required by applicable New Zealand law, purchases are non-refundable once delivered/credited.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, software, artwork, trademarks, and content are owned by or licensed to SnowCappedFun and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works except as permitted by law or by us in writing.

8. Service changes, suspension, termination

We may update, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or to protect the Service, users, or compliance obligations.

9. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profits, or loss of data. Our total liability for claims relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us (if any) in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits rights or remedies that cannot be excluded under New Zealand law (including the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and Fair Trading Act 1986, where applicable).

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. You agree to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Zealand.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify you (for example, via the Service). Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
